At Tamwood we offer a once-in-a-lifetime learning experience. Located in some of Canada’s most popular cities and vacation centres, and providing a full range of unique programs, Tamwood offers something for everyone! Tamwood was founded as a single program in 1992 and welcomed its first students in 1993. Today, we operate over 20 English programs for adults in Canada across 3 locations. We believe that our success is a result of the high level of integrity and personal attention we provide. We invest in state of the art facilities and technology, we hire only the best – university accredited teachers and administrators - and we carefully screen our host families. We treat every student like they are our first customer. Today more than 30,000 people have taken part in our programs or traveled with us overseas!

Hello. First of all thank you for giving me the opportunity to share my opinion. What I liked the most about the school is the location. It's a good location in downtown near Robson street. You can go shopping or watch a movie and it'll only take 5 minutes to walk. The teaching is good, but they should improve their teaching method, such as using body language, which is important to make the subject clearer and easier. The teachers are kind and helpful though. The homestay is perfect. Good and friendly family, unlimited internet access, and spacious room. It's really great! The only thing that I didn't like is the location's distance from home to school. It takes 40 mins by bus and skytrain so I have to pay monthly 110 CAD. I think they should have chosen a home stay near the school. In general it's been a good experience and useful for me. Visa support

We cannot apply for visas on behalf of students. However, the school can supply you with all the documentation you need to support your visa application.

Your letter of acceptance will be sent to your home address by regular mail at no charge to you. If you wish to receive your paperwork by express mail, you will be charged C$ 105 when you register.
