All EGA International schools are located in the town area. EGA International uses different tuition centres as all students are divided by ages and levels. Our main headquarters is located in the center of Town at College Square. Our Central school is just 3 minutes from local train and bus station.

EGA International is located in the heart of Killarney, one of Ireland’s most beautiful and welcoming towns. Our main headquarters are based in College Square, right in the centre of town, just a 3-minute walk from Killarney train and bus station.

All our class centres are centrally located within the town area. Students are placed in different teaching centres according to their age and English level, allowing us to provide a more personalised and effective learning experience.

Once classes and activities are finished, the students are taken back home to their families by private transport organised by EGA. Living with the family is the best option for practising English and learning about local culture and traditions. The family homes are spread over a wide area making it almost impossible to meet students of the same nationality.

Our families are responsible for the entertainment of the student and weekend planning. Our students are always placed in the same house with an Irish brother / sister of the similar age and with the same hobbies. The families will have constant interaction with the student and they will always be treated as a member of the family.

Our adult school at Macros, Killarney is full . This happens every year, so we have created extra adult classes 5 minutes’ drive away at our school in Lisivigeen, Killarney. All transport is provided between our two schools.

"The family has changed their minds and would like to know whether or not the individual lessons for the daughter can be held at their lodging instead of the school. If this is not possible, I completely understand. How much would each lesson cost if the teacher were to go to their accommodation to teach? The would like 15 hours for the week. 3 hours each morning."

Is the accommodation in Killarney town centre or does the teacher have to travel there by his/her private car ? ( Killarney town does not have a public transport system). Is the class to be in a bedroom ? this is not a good atmosphere for a class, you will agree . From a teachers point of view, an actual class room is a better learning environment, Of course the teacher has resource material, photocopier, in-house facilities at the language centre you will agree ?

"How should our students register for 1 week in the LOCAL URBAN CAMP WITH KILLARNEY CHILDREN if they are finally interested?"

We can register the child for the Camp closer to the dates of arrival... E.g.. at the end of June - if we have the following details -
1. Name of Child
2. Date of Birth
3. Parents name
4. Medical or Diet observations/comments if applicable.

"I never heard a response back from the inquiry I had below about the 5 and 3 year old taking the family combined course. Is this possible if the mother takes the course as well? Would the mother and two youngsters be able to book the private apartment option that you have for housing? How much would it cost for the adult with two little ones?"

The adult single mother can take Adult General English class – morning hours. The most suitable option would be Host Family accommodation – booking 2 rooms with unsuited bathroom. Plus the usual Registration fee and any transfers requested. The child of 5 years may attend Monday to Friday morning at local summer Activity camp – 9.30.am to 12.00.noon approx. (times to be confirm when full details published) The child of 3 years is NOT accepted by local summer activity camp – underage unfortunately. EGA International does not accept into class groups - children who cannot yet write. I would recommend a Host family in this instance, a local young couple perhaps who also have a young family and where the children can interact through play and family toys and activity.
