IELTS test preparation courses in South Africa

IH Johannesburg is proud to be the only independent IELTS (International English Language Testing System) testing centre in South Africa. The IELTS test is required by persons wanting to immigrate to countries such as Australia, England and Canada.

IELTS and TOEFL These courses are offered as intensive one on one lessons. Students wanting to take these exams in Cape Town are advised to book the exam before the course starts as the exam centres have limited spaces available.

The IELTS Exam Preparation is a great way for students to quickly learn the skills needed to succeed on the IELTS exam. The course lasts 4 weeks, and has been designed to give students the skills they need to improve their score.

General English + IELTS gives students 15 hours (20 lessons) of General English tuition plus 7.5 hours (10 lessons) of IELTS exam preparation per week.

IELTS Preparation is available as a Core Course and you can add modules to increase the intensity of your course.

These courses are designed to prepare you for the IELTS academic English exams, with focused training in exam strategies and techniques to allow you to maximise your potential and achieve the grade you need. As a university language centre, we are committed to supporting our students in reaching the level they need to successfully apply to university.

Participants join a General English course in the morning and participate in an exclusive IELTS Exam Preparation course during afternoon hours (except Fridays). Our professionally trained teachers ensure the best possible preparation for the exam.
