The Standard course offers students the perfect balance between language training and leisure time. As in all our courses, Mandarin Chinese is taught, and the courses themselves are held in Chinese.

If your goal is to have your chinese fluency learing in China or just communicate with your Chinese colleagues, survival Chinese courses are needed. The classes are one-on-one but we can also organize group class if there are 2 students or more.

Most of our gap year students stay in the schools 9 bedroom international student accommodation and will meet fellow Gap year TMI students from countries such as Sweden,Switzerland,b Hong Kong, Thailand, Japan and France.

Overseas School Study Tours (Tailored) visits to Taiwan Mandarin Institue are very popular and over the years, TMI has welcomed Primary and High school Tours from Countries such as Australia, Hongkong, Thailand England, USA and Thailand. Visting students to Taipei come from both the Private college or Public high schools and our teachers can easily integrate with your own curriculum to lead to a productive week of learning.

The Small Group Program is ideal for learners who want regular progress while keeping time for self-study and personal activities. With 2 lessons a day, 3 days a week (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday), this course offers a perfect balance.

Students enrolled in this course can apply for the X2 visa and stay and study in China legally. In this program you can study in group courses, a 3-6 month student visa will give you enough time to focus on your Chinese learning and enjoy the Qingdao life.

Encouraging student interaction and unrelenting progress, our beginner level courses mainly focuses on practical Chinese speaking and listening, phonetics and Chinese characters.
