TEENAGER PROGRAMME
The programme consists of:

• English Language Programme of
20 lessons a week with a focus on
spoken English

• One afternoon a week there is an
optional Young Leader workshop
including team building, public
speaking, presenting ideas and
debating

• Afternoon sporting and cultural
activities and one evening activity

• A full day excursion every
weekend to a place of interest

Students stay with carefully
selected host families, living as a part of the family, in Dalkey and surrounding villages.

Some of our host families are within walking distance of the school, others are 1 or 2 stops away on the DART line in the locations Dublin 2, 4, 6, 6W, 12 and South County Dublin.

We will provide travel cards when necessary.

There is normally a maximum of 3 students per host family. Most students will be in twin rooms, others in singles or triples. Families provide full board, with a packed lunch on afternoons when there are activities.

Single, twin, double or triple rooms are available. Half-board: breakfast and dinner daily. Lunch is also provided at the weekend and a packed lunch on other days for those on the Teenager Programme. No use of kitchen. A clean and comfortable room with space for your clothes.

Laundry & Cleaning

Towels and bedding are provided and are washed once a week. Your host will do one load of light washing a week or alternatively you will have access to laundry facilities.

Internet access is possible in most homestays. Please ask at time of booking.

Private bathroom available at extra charge for those on the Family Programme.

Visa support

We cannot apply for visas on behalf of students. However, the school can supply you with all the documentation you need to support your visa application.

Your letter of acceptance will be sent to your home address by regular mail at no charge to you. If you wish to receive your paperwork by express mail, you will be charged 50 € when you register.

Flights and airport transfer

Please note that we do not book flights for our students. If you are researching airfare costs, we recommend using Kayak.com, a search engine that lets you compare flight options from your home country to Dublin based on your budget, schedule and preferences.

Travel insurance

When you book a course with us, you can opt to purchase an international insurance plan that covers not only your health care cost but also loss of your personal belongings. You must book your insurance in advance when you register.
