The Short Term General Japanese Course is for all level of students who wish to study Japanese and experience Japanese life on holidays. ISI Language School have about 25 classes from beginner to advance, so you will find the most suitable class for you.
Tuition is organised in terms of 10 weeks of classes. 10 weeks of classes correspond to 3 months since we have 1 or 2 weeks of holidays at the end of each term.
The experienced teachers devise the better method day by day, using original photos and pictures, so that students can relax and practice for many situations. The special direct teaching method is used. You have a lot of chances to speak up in the elementary classes.
Once you reach the intermediate level, you can take 16 hours general lessons and 4 hours elective lessons. The elective lessens can be chosen from conversation, JLPT preparatory, EJU preparatory, or post graduate exam preparatory.
Minimum enrollment is 2 weeks.
Homestay (live with a Japanese family), Guesthouse (share the house with Japanese residents), Weekly mansion (private apartment) would be the ideal accommodation to experience the Japanese life.
Please note that the courses must be booked at least 4 weeks in advance.

TOKYO - SHIBUYA HARAJUKU (Career path) does not hold classes on the holiday dates below. The school does not compensate for these holidays, so make sure to choose your start date accordingly.
This is the only Japanese language school which provides full support for job-hunting from the beginner level. Our Japanese Language Career Course is an intensive course for job-finding, and this is only for the motivated people who wish to get a job in Japan, start a business in Japan, or work in a Japanese company in the future.

Homestays are carefully selected and offer students the opportunity to learn more about the local culture in a comfortable setting while studying Japanese in Tokyo. These homes are often between 15 - 60 minutes away from the school by public transport. Families usually offer affordable meal plans that allow you to sample the local cuisine. If you have special requests or diet restrictions (because of religion or health reasons), please let us know in advance. You must check out 1 day after your classes end (usually a Saturday). Student residences are more suitable for an independent student, who is looking for clean, basic accommodation at an economic price. All students must be 18+. Your housing starts on the Sunday before your first day of class and ends on the Saturday after your last day of class, unless otherwise noted. Student residences often do not include any meal plan. It is possible to live in a rented apartment during your study in Tokyo, but this tends to be more expensive. TOKYO - SHIBUYA HARAJUKU (Career path) provides some assistance with apartment rentals or you can rent an apartment on your own. Learn more about apartment housing
We cannot apply for visas on behalf of students. However, the school can supply you with all the documentation you need to support your visa application.
Your letter of acceptance will be sent to your home address by regular mail at no charge to you.
