"It was a great experience, having a private teacher! All together it has been a deep dive into the kiSwahili language!"

Marieke Blokzijl, student from Afghanistan

My course started a bit like an adventure, I only knew the time, date and location of my course. I did not get any other information. But it all turned out nicely. I appeared to be the only student having a private teacher, who taught me at his home. My teacher was very nice and very good, in the end we almost covered all grammar in this one week. I really enjoyed the course. The only thing that could have been organised better was the communicating before.
Also my teacher did't receive any confirmation that I was coming. However, in the end it all worked out nicely. My KiSwahili has improved very much in this week!

"What an experience, one week of Kiswahili."

Petra Nehmer, student from Germany

The school was in the end 18km outside of Arusha and not in the centre like it is noted on the website. But we figured something out. The teaching was excellent and my teacher a very nice and skillful person. We had a lot of fun. And one week is definitely too short for such an interesting language.
