Course description

The DELE 20 + 5 course is for students who want to continue improving their general Spanish while receiving individual preparation for the official DELE exam. DELE, the Diploma de Español como Lengua Extranjera, is an official Spanish language certificate issued by Instituto Cervantes on behalf of Spain’s Ministry of Education and follows the CEFR levels A1 to C2.

Students take 20 group lessons of General Spanish per week, normally as part of the Intensive 20 course, plus 5 individual DELE preparation lessons per week. The group lessons help students develop their overall Spanish through speaking, listening, grammar, vocabulary, reading and writing.

The private DELE lessons focus on the student’s target exam level and preparation needs. They may include exam format, reading comprehension, listening comprehension, written expression, oral expression, grammar review, vocabulary, timing strategies and practice with exam-style tasks.

The teacher reviews the student’s level and objectives so the preparation can focus on the skills most relevant to the chosen DELE level. Official DELE exam fees and exam registration are not included unless specifically stated.
