Course description

Business Communication Internship program is a Business English program that offers students the opportunity to learn, comprehend, and utilize various Business English concepts and vocabulary. Furthermore, the aim is to facilitate the acquisition of competent communicative skills within a contemporary international business context.

The course deals with examining issues in terms instruction, discussion, debate and critical analysis. Business English communicative skills are developed through both individual and group exercises including: daily group discussions, vocabulary exercises, listening exercises, reading and comprehension exercises, case studies, projects and assignments.

Particular emphasis is placed increasing students' confidence with regards to expressing individual opinions as well as public speaking and presentations. Students will gain a familiarity with various business concepts and have the confidence to deal with them effectively and appropriately. Students should be prepared for an intensive academic experience with extensive reading and projects.

The unpaid internship opportunities with structured organizations in a professional environment will enable those highly qualified students to meet Canadian business professionals and apply their English and business skills to practical use, after which the experience can be added to their resumes. The unpaid internship is optional rather than mandatory.

Visa support

We cannot apply for visas on behalf of students. However, the school can supply you with all the documentation you need to support your visa application.

Your letter of acceptance will be sent to your home address by regular mail at no charge to you. If you wish to receive your paperwork by express mail, you will be charged C$ 200 when you register.
