Homestays are carefully selected and offer students the opportunity to learn more about the local culture in a comfortable setting while studying English in Cardiff. These homes are often between 25 - 50 minutes away from the school by public transport. Families usually offer affordable meal plans that allow you to sample the local cuisine. If you have special requests or diet restrictions (because of religion or health reasons), please let us know in advance. Your housing starts on the Sunday before your first day of class and ends on the Saturday after your last day of class, unless otherwise noted. Learn more about homestay housing
Located to the west of England, Wales has a proud independent culture and national spirit. Officially a bi-lingual country - English is spoken and understood everywhere, with Welsh (or Cymraeg) being limited to the mountains and the north - Wales is characterized by beautiful coastline, rugged mountains, a strong industrial and mining heritage, and a love for rugby! As a Celtic nation, music is integral to the culture of Wales, and choir singing is a popular pastime. Their male voice choirs are particularly famous!
We have host tutors available in Cardiff and Swansea.
