"I loved it but I understood how much I loved it only once I was back"

Irma Sannino, student from Italy

I enjoyed the classes, they were a bit easy to me but I enjoyed them. I was elected the best student and it made me happy. I really liked some of the teachers, especially when they comforted me if I was sad. The place was wonderful, however it was huge and this made it compulsory to be with an adult when going around campus. I wish I could have been by myself, but I was also quite intimidated by the dimensions of the campus. I was a bit sorry that we did not do many activities, since I do not like sports. We did some crafts with the other mates, but I do not think they were planned. The room was absolutely fantastic, I loved it so much. I especially liked hanging out at the common rooms and relax with all the new friends.

At the ACCORD ISS Rossall summer residential camp students stay in comfortable rooms of mainly single or twin beds. Shared showers and toilets are cleaned and maintained on a regular basis. We make every effort to ensure that rooms are shared with children of different nationalities and similar age when students are in twin accommodation to encourage them to speak English outside the classroom and make new friends. Parents may request for their child to share with a particular friend(s) and this will be considered but cannot always be guaranteed.

There is a social room in each boarding house where children can watch TV/DVDs, listen to music, play board games etc. Children usually relax in the social room with a hot chocolate drink before bedtime. Our professional and experienced staff stay in the boarding houses to ensure safety and 24 hour supervision.

The boarding houses also have separate study rooms which are all equipped with lockers for the students to store valuables if required. Padlocks for the lockers are not included.

That accommodation is only offered to students booking the All inclusive stays at Rossall.
visa

Visa support

We cannot apply for visas on behalf of students. However, the school can supply you with all the documentation you need to support your visa application.

If you are studying in the UK for over 11 months, you will receive a reference number called a Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) that you need to submit to the UK embassy along with your General Student Visa application. Students who have successfully booked a language course and have paid their fees will receive a CAS from ACCORD ISS Rossall. Please note that UK law states that a CAS can only be issued to students who intend to pursue English language studies for over 11 months.

If you are studying in the UK for 11 months or less, you have to apply for a special visitor visa called a Student Visitor Visa. As a student visitor, you will not be able to work part-time while studying. If you plan to study in the UK for 11 months or less, a letter of acceptance will be sent to your home address by regular mail at no charge to you. If you wish to receive your paperwork by express mail, you will be charged £ 120 when you register.
