Course description

A combination of group and private classes, Exam Preparation 25 offers the best of both worlds.

IELTS, TOEFL, TOEIC, FCE and others: If you are planning to take one of the aforementioned exams and need to prepare, while also working on your overall English ability, EX25 provides the perfect solution for you. Many of the above tests require specific skills but first and foremost are a test on your English level; only working on the exam and ignoring your overall level can have a negative impact on your score.

EX25 students will join GE15 classes in the morning to raise their overall level and to practice the various skills in classes with students of a range of nationalities. In the afternoon, students will spend two hours in a private 1:1 class from 1:15 to 3:15 pm focusing on different aspects and skills required on the exam.

As we train over 550 teachers every year, our English teachers are the top 1% of our teacher training program. All of our teachers are native English speakers with a university degree and their Cambridge CELTA teaching certificate.

These classes have students from all around the world which creates a multicultural and engaging classroom environment. We had 66 nationalities study at our school last year. Bangkok has been the most visited city in the world for the last 3 years, and for good reason! We also have an activities program for students to see the sights and sounds of the lively and exotic city.

"That was a good experience."

Eunjeong Kim, student from South Korea

The thing what I have an opinion was that IH in Chiang Mai really need a shuttle bus connecting main town. Now I realized why you have a dormitory in your school. However if you have a shuttle bus for students, your school could be more attractive.

"Nice memories of the four-week schooling. Feel free to visit this school again."

Werner Oberholzer, student from Switzerland

Excellent teachers from England and the USA. Very nice classmates, all much younger than me. A school with a higher average age will probably not exist anywhere. There is still room for improvement among the staff in the office (for example, announcing the timetable changes the previous day). The house and its premises are very pleasant, but far away if you do not have the accommodation in place (daily 3 kilometer walk).

"It was a very enjoyable holiday studying"

HUI-FANG LIN, student from Taiwan

I have a good time to stay a house in Chiang Mai and enjoy classes. Although it’s 5 hour-lessons a day, I don’t feel bored and tired. Because the teachers are enthusiastic and expressed an interest lesson for us, all of us are laughing and happy all the time. So, each day went fast. However, the lesson designs (or contents) are too simple and easy which seems as a middle school level. I prefer to learn more specific topics which are related to our daily social life such as sports, international news, food, celebrities.

The campus is charming; surrounding by singing birds and fragrant flowers. Also, it’s a tidy and cozy place.

The food in cafeteria is pleasant and the dinner time can be flexible when I requested.

Staffs in the office and chief are all nice, and always support me when I need help.

However, I would like to complain about the house room I stay. Basically, the room is ok. But, there is no provided hair dry, and the school should have informed us in advance. And, the bathroom came out bad smell all the time.

Finally, I enjoy this short term holiday studying. It was fun trip. If I have a time, I will come here again.

"I've learned a lot"

Hedwina Hendriks, student from Netherlands

I studied for three weeks at the International Chiangmai house, and have really enjoyed my stay.
My teacher was really motivated to teach me as much as possible which makes learning more fun and a lot easier. Also the staff were helpful and always happy. I didn't stay at the resort because I had to save money maybe they should consider to make staying more attractive although I hired a scooter and stayed at the centre of Chiang mai which was also nice. I would definitely recommend this place because I've made a lot of progress where I can't thank them enough for it.
